How it unfolds

Arrival
Check in
We recommend checking in at the front desk 5–10 minutes before the activity starts.
Meet your guide. Warm overalls, winter boots and mittens are provided if needed. -
Step 1
Gear up
We fix on the snowshoes in the storage room and head out into a dark forest

Step 2
Walk
Your guide will lead you through the snow-covered forest to an open viewpoint. We walk through the forest without headlamps. As your eyes adjust to the darkness, you’ll be surprised by how much you can see without artificial light.

Hot drinks at the fire place
By the fire place you can warm up and enjoy hot drinks

Return
After the campfire break, we continue snowshoeing back to the main building at Salla Wilderness Park.
