Explore the snowy wilderness of Finnish Lapland on a guided snowshoeing tour in Salla National Park. Follow your guide through snow-covered forests and climb to the summit of Isopyhätunturi fell, the highest point in the national park, for panoramic views of the surrounding Arctic landscape.
Along the way, discover the peaceful beauty of Lapland’s winter forests, where snow-laden “marshmallow trees” and untouched nature create a true wilderness experience. Your experienced guide will lead the way and make the adventure accessible even if you are trying snowshoeing for the first time.
The tour includes return transportation, quality snowshoeing equipment, a sandwich and warm juice to enjoy during a break in the peaceful surroundings of the national park.

Pick up
Our guide will pick you up from agreed pick-up point and head out to the start of the walk

Step 1
Gear up
With a help of our guide, you fix on the snowshoes, grab the poles and head out to the forest

Walk
We start to make our way up to Isopyhätunturi fell, walking between snow-covered trees.

Picnic stop
At a scenic viewpoint, on the side of the fell, you can enjoy light picnic with hot drinks

Step 4
Descent
Eventually you get to descent from the fell and walk back to the car.
