Your canoe adventure starts at Salla Wilderness Park, where our guide provides all the necessary equipment, inYour canoe adventure starts at Salla Wilderness Park, where our guide provides all the necessary equipment, including life jackets and waterproof bags. We then drive approximately 5 km to Hangasjärvi Lake, following our guide in your own car.
Hangasjärvi is a peaceful wilderness lake surrounded by forests, far from busy roads and everyday noise. Glide quietly across the calm waters and enjoy the silence of Lapland’s nature. Our stable, easy-to-paddle two-person canoes make the experience suitable even for beginners. Before setting off, your guide will show you everything you need to know about paddling.
During the trip, we take a break by an open fire, where you can enjoy traditional black pot coffee, grilled sausages and stories about life in Lapland.

Getting there
Before heading out onto the water, you drive with your own car following our guide, 6 km from Salla Wilderness Park to Hangasjärvi Lake, where we keep our canoes.

Canoeing
Now it's time to relax and enjoy your time on the water. Paddle at your own pace, take in the silence and listen to the gentle sound of water beneath your canoe.

The fire
At the campfire, we'll enjoy good company, grill sausages and have traditional Finnish campfire coffee with biscuits.
