With the Reindeer Park Area Pass, you can explore our 200-hectare Reindeer Park and follow approximately 5 kilometres of marked trails through the heart of authentic Lapland nature.
The trail leads you through a variety of beautiful landscapes. The Trapper’s Trail climbs along the hillside ridge, winding past historic predator traps before reaching the open marshlands of Kolmiloukkonen. The Nature Trail circles the peaceful Tuohenlusikka Pond and its surrounding wetlands, while the Wildlife Management Trail leads you back to the starting point, introducing you to the traditions of northern wilderness life along the way.
The reindeer roam freely throughout the park in their natural environment, giving you the opportunity to encounter them during your walk. Along the route, you’ll also discover traditional wilderness cabins, learn about historic predator trapping methods, and explore the rich history of Lapland’s wilderness culture.
Several campfire sites and cosy traditional Lappish huts are located along the trail, providing perfect places to take a break. Bring your own snacks, sausages, or a traditional coffee pot, relax by the fire, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at your own pace.
